Matrix 4: Priyanka Chopra Jonas And Keanu Reeves-Starrer Gets A New Official Title; Trailer Unveiled At CinemaCon
Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Keanu Reeves’s forthcoming sci-fi flick 'Matrix 4' has been the talk of the town ever since it went on floors. Warner Brothers, on Tuesday, unveiled the first trailer of the movie and also announced its new title 'The Matrix: Resurrections.’ The trailer has been played exclusively at a downsized CinemaCon, which is said to be “the largest gathering of movie theater owners" from around the world in Las Vegas. The clip is yet to be released online.

According to a report in Hollywood Reporter, the trailer starts with Thomas Anderson (Reeves aka Neo) in therapy, telling his therapist (Neil Patrick Harris), “I had dreams that weren’t just dreams. Am I crazy?” He senses something is off with the world but has no memory of what The Matrix is. The report also says that the intriguing trailer looks quite promising and will witness some high-octane action sequences.

The fourth film of 'The Matrix' franchise, has been penned and directed by Lana Wachowski, who helmed all the three films in the franchise with sister Lilly. Besides Reeves and PeeCee, the trilogy also stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jonathan Groff and Neil Patrick Harris.

The film is all set to premiere on December 22, 2021, in theatres and on the OTT streaming platform. Apart from this, Priyanka Chopra also has Amazon Prime series ‘Citadel’ with Richard Madden of Game of Thrones and 'Text For You' in the pipeline.
